What is Oceanography?
Join representatives from Delaware Sea Grant and the University of Delaware as we explore the wonderful world of Oceanography. In this program, participants will learn about the history of ocean exploration, the tools used in ocean research, and some of the amazing things researchers have discovered in and about the ocean.
Participants will also explore stations representing the four branches of Oceanography, which include Biological Oceanography, Chemical Oceanography, Physical Oceanography, and Geological Oceanography.
