Join Delaware Sea Grant, Delaware Nature Society, Delaware Association for Environmental Education, and Stroud Water Research Center for a one-day workshop to learn how to support schools in engaging students with local place-based problem-solving while meeting state standards for social studies, language arts, math, science, technology, and career awareness.
Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences (MWEEs) are learner-centered experiences focused on investigating issues in the local environment. In this workshop, participants will learn how MWEEs can enrich classroom instruction, connect students to their local community, and increase standards-based student achievement.
This workshop is free and is open to anyone interested in supporting Environmental Literacy efforts in Delaware. Lunch will be provided.
