July 2022 — Coastal Water Temperatures
Although ocean conditions vary from year to year, water temperatures are less variable than air temperatures, so averages can provide useful information for planning beach activities such as swimming or fishing. In addition to considering historical averages, you can find near real-time temperatures from the Coastal Water Temperature Guide provided by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) as a guide for beachgoers, tourists, and travelers.
